From the committee for the promotion and development of AIFO starts since 1998 AIFO R&S (Research and Study) on the initiative of a group of dental technicians which have become friends due to the common attendance at various courses. It is hold the first meeting only for the speakers and based on the assumptions of iconographic quality for the presentations and free expression. The same group promotes a twinning between AIFO and the group. In conjunction with that the changeover from analog photography to digital photography becomes clear and lead to the abandonment of slide projectors and the changeover to multimedia presentations.
